Gorgeous color. NP at any...sorry, can’t say that with a straight face. I know how crazy these can get.

To be honest , if you are American and want a Defender, buy a Jeep. If you really really want a Land Rover, both the Discovery 1-2 and Range Rover Classic had the same engines basically over there and very similar off-road behaviour, plus they don’t seem to have such stupid pricing. My source? I started with a Freelander 1, really liked it, decided I wanted a full size Land Rover, eyed a gorgeous 110 utility wagon for only £7500, started getting excited, but then drove it. Immediately went and bought a Range Rover Classic with the same 300TDI, for £4400 and it was better in every way . Kept the Freelander for just in case as well. I love Defenders, but they are totally behind the times even back in the 90s. And yet, despite the fact I know how crap they are... I still want one.

It’s the color that got my attention. I’ve seen plenty of D efenders but I want that color on my TJ.

Take off the diamond plate and the snorkel and it goes from dang near perfect to absolutely perfect in my book.

I've always kind of wondered - how do those rear seats hold up in a forward collision? I imagine a lot of sideways neck motion, which can't be good.
